AM in New Jersey said: “Since September I have spoken to 4 customer service people and one person who claimed to be a supervisor. Last week I was told by a person by the name of Anu, I.D. Hgizhx, that I qualified for a two month extension due to my place of employment closing the business. Anu also told me there would be an automatic withdraw from my account today 11/10/2009. When I realized the money was not taken from my account I called. One girl says i qualify for a 1 month extension and says there are no notes in the system, she than tranfers me over to a supervisor who tells me i dont qualify for an extension. So, here I am - money in the bank, - not taken from HSBC like i told it would be and one girl telling me i qualify and another says i dont? Whats going on over there?”

I have had as many as 9-10 phone calls a day.They start with “Do you have a family member that may help you?”, calling before 8 am and alot of calls after 9 oclock. They have hired people that i cannot understand as they are of a different race. Some talk so fast that i just hang up; english and other nationalities.
HL in Maryland said: “My girlfriend and I went and applied for a $7500 fixed motorcycle loan at Cycle World in Glen Burnie Maryland, May 6, 2006. after 16 months of payments I was concerned about my payments, the balance didn’t seem correct. I had paid $4000.00 in payments in 16 months and my balance only deducted a couple hundred dollars. I called HSBC to find out what the problem was and was told I was paying on the interest.
