KG in Tennessee said: “HSBC failed to send a bill for me to pay my minimum payment in Oct 2008. After discussing their error they deleted the late payment fee. Then they keep sending the bills late, so when I get my bill, the payment is either past due or due in a short amount of time.

I do not go by the bill sent to me, I make a half payment every paycheck. I checked on 1-2-09 on my amount owed for that month. They stated that I owed $0, that my account is up to date and current. I paid $11 on both 1-14 and 1-28. My due date is the 8th of each month. This means that my payment was in their hands well before the 8th of the month. They are now stating that the $0 due on 1-2 did not mean that I didn’t have a payment due on 1-8. Now my minimum due is $250 and HSBC wants me to pay it. They refuse to see that I am making the minimum required payment.”
