CL in Kansas said: “I have been a HSBC credit card holder for two years. I went on line to view my latest statement and discovered that my credit limit was cut from $8,000 to $470.00. There was no notice of this reduction. I have never carried a balance on this card, gone over my limit, or been late with payments. A call to HSBC’s customer service representative was useless as they only provide scripted responses. My credit scores have only gone up in the past two years, my debt has been reduced, and I am gainfully employed full time. I think this is outrageous but am reasonably certain I have little to no recourse.”
