RS in Virginia said: “First the HSBC card was not accepted at merchants even after it was paid in full. Now HSBC keeps calling after the card was cancelled. The HSBC rep is a smart ass who needs a severe beating.”

Editor’s Note: As HSBC lowers the credit limit on many credit cards this attitude may continue. People are often embarassed when the think they have a high available balance, but instead they cannot put fuel in the car or take their boss out to lunch. HSBC continues to alienate the general public, and in many cases these are not subprime. These are people with very good credit, as evidenced by GM Card complaints.
