DB in New York said: “I see that I am not the only one to have HSBC go into my bank account and withdraw money illegally. On 1/28/09 HSBC went in to my bank account and took out every penny in my account. The amount they took was $2,700.00 dollars. There was no authorization given to them by me. Now all my normal withdrawls such as homeowners insurance and car insurance have bounced. Not only does it make me mad that they can do this without any recourse but knowing that my bank lets them do it really ticks me off. Now my bank account has a negative $1,000 dollar balance and I’m going to be paying that off for months. What makes me even more angry is that the American government allows them to do this to people. My guess would be that HSBC gives a lot of money to the two parties.”
