LB in Texas said: “I am fed up with HSBC and their stupid tactics to make the elderly pay for not being as quick and swift as our younger counterparts. I am 86 years old and I remember opening up an account with HSBC back in 1994. I remember only purchasing one thing, but now until this day I have a bill that continues to accumulate and it never seems to decrease. I am sick of it to the point that I am ready to stop paying all together and just offer a settlement amount later.
HSBC continuously adds late fees to payments that I know should get to them on time, and they call me all times of the day and hour even on Sundays to collect on their past due late fees. I am just sick of them. I requested statements for the purchase and they can’t even provide them. I just don’t know what to do from here. I know I didn’t spend 3,000 dollars in their store. I can only remember purchasing one item, but my bill is outrageous. I am sick of them. I will never suggest that anyone do business with HSBC.”
