BK in Michigan said: “My husband had a old loan from Household. We defaulted on it. The loan was 10 years old. Just this Monday, the 29th of December 2008, without any court notice HSBC came and took our 2007 Harley motorcyle as property for this loan. HSBC wanted anything of value – even his truck. They did not garnish his check or anything. HSBC just came and got the motorcyle, so we are going to fight them tooth and nail over this. It might be worth loosing everything just so they can’t keep this motorcycle.”
