Had HSBC account for 15 years, closed for inactivity

DJ in Minnesota said: “I had an HSBC account for 15 years, never made a late payment SO they closed it for “inactivity”. This puts a huge hole in my credit report. I paid off the $10,000 balance exactly 1 year before they closed it. This was my oldest account and now my credit report is adversely effected. Thanks HSBC for a Merry Christmas this year.”
