RW in Maryland said: “I am on disabilty and tried, but failed, to get a samll loan of $2500.00 to pay some bills. I told the lady that I would put at least half of my money in the bank so I could make sure I had enough to make payments. I was going to direct deposit my Social Security check. I told them it would be OK to take out payments from account. I think us baby boomers helped make HSBC. I am 61 and my wife is 63. My mother dealt with HSBC for years.”
