BH in Missouri said: “I was just checking out my credit report and noticed this HSBC/RS. I was like what the blank is that…so I put it in my search browser and this is why I am here. Apparently they are affilliated with Best Buy? I don’t even have a Best Buy near me. I have never shopped there, yet they show on my report that I have a 6k account revolving that is almost at 5k presently. How did they get my information anyhow? So far I haven’t been billed although apparently I have had this account since Sep. of 2002. Can you help me with this?”

(For our readers, HSBC handles Best Buy credt card financing. HSBC/RS is HSBC Retail Services. Look for that name to change in the future, but it will still be HSBC.) This person received an answer to their question.
