CH in wisconsin said: “After having a GM (HSBC) credit card and several “store” cards that were carried by HSBC for a number of years. They pulled their late payment scam on one of my store cards and then tried to blame the post office for losing my payment. After paying off the store card and discontinuing use on my other store cards, HSBC decided to raise the interest on my GM card to 31%. Their only response as to why was, “it’s a business decision”. Needless to say, I’m not paying 31% on a pre-existing balance. I’m disabled and don’t really need a good credit score. Let then try their worst. Do yourself a favor and don’t do any business with these criminals or any stores that use their financial services.”
