TB in Michigan said: “Account current, but my credit report indicated HSBC placed it for collection. Called HSBC Best Buy and they said “oops we made a mistake.” HSBC promised to correct the error but instead they placed current account for collection 2 weeks after I called. Payments are current, I pay more than the minimum and my balance has been reduced by $4000. Now this out of the blue – with no warning. I lost a home mortgage due to HSBC report and lies. DON’T TRUST HSBC!”
