HSBC says MoneyGrams bounce, then charges late fees
CL in Texas said: “My husband and I bought a car from Alford Cheverolet Oct 2004, and have been late with a payment a time or two but always send a money gram. Well, HSBC has informed me that money grams bounce and that me and my husband owe late fees. We always send more than the minimum payment and late fees but we still get calls everyday at the same time. I’m just about ready to let the car go back cause I am so sick of HSBC. Has anyone else have had problems like this?”
Editor’s Note: Without a doubt the MoneyGram people will not be happy with the song and dance that HSBC is giving you. Can you find any valid evidence that a valid MoneyGram has bounced? I think HSBC NEVER planned on you sending a report that would be published. Here is the MoneyGram website. If the lawyers start in we might contact CL in Texas for permission to follow up. Remember, HSBC horror stories are the opinion of the submitter. Good luck on this one.
