DA in Texas said: “We were taken Hook-Line & Stinker!!! We were never given the option of a “Debt Cancellation” when we signed up for the Best Buy credit card. It was not even explained to us. It just showed up on our bill.”

Editor’s Note: Here is how the scam works: Debt cancellation is not explained, thus you do not decline it. When you leave a Best Buy employee or HSBC Finance employee accepts it for you. Since they did not give you a copy there is nothing you can do. Once you receive the card you are bound by binding arbitration and cannot sue. Since you made an initial purchase, perhaps before you got the card, you are already bound by the contract that you initially did not see.

Pretty slick scam isn’t it? It all comes down to integrity.
