SK in Maharashtra said: “Though Kranti Khaire selected one person for the role of a technical writer and asked the person to join on September 1 in HSBC GLT Pune Centre, the requirements of the clients changed suddenlyas per Kranti, and the person was told at the 11th hour that she can’t join.
Kranti just said curtly that the position is not available anymore. The person was serving a notice period in her earlier company and she was told on 26th of August that she can’t join. The person is feeling devastated by such unethical behaviour shown by Kranti. A good resource executive that she is in HSBC GLT, she has managed the resources for the company in such a way that people who are hired for a role and are asked to join on a particular date, are informed 4 days before, that they can’t join.
I am sure she was not taught to do this from Bharatiya Vidyapeeth from where she did her MBA HR.
Has she ever thought of the impact it would make in the person’s career or maybe these humane things do not find a place in the Corporate parlance. The person also had other offers from various companies but declined them because of Kranti as she had confirmed that the person can join on September 1.
Kranti needs to do a little bit of introspection and understand if she is doing her job properly. Has she just been hired to take care of the numbers going in and going out from the company. Is she creating a good example of a professional and ethical organisation? The person who had been hired wanted to prove to the world that she can take care of her mother. All her dreams are shattered now as she can’t understand how she will inform her mother about it.
Most of all the person’s confidence, trust and faith in herself has also been hampered. It will take some time for the person to get a new job or it may take ages, but Kranti needs to rethink if she is doing her job as a Resource executive. I will try to disseminate this information to a larger audience to make her understand the gravity of the situation.”
