JH in Pennsylvania said: “I pay our GM card online and in full monthly. This month I checked the statement and noticed a ‘nominal apr’ of 30.99%. I went through the past 6 months of online statements and saw it was as high as 31.24%! I e-mailed and requested a lower rate and was told none were available. I then called and got the same responses from both the first customer service representative and her supervisor. Needless to say, the card is cut up and the regular bills that used to go to that account have now been switched to a lower rate card. I’ll forfeit the GM rewards and buy a foreign car. The heck with them!!”
