DW in Missouri said: “I am in the process of closing on a home that I have sold. I was informed over 2 weeks ago that there was deed of release needed by HFC, so I contacted them to request the information. I spoke to 10 different people from the same area who have told me everything from that they were sending information to the Title Compsny and that I owed money. Most of the people agreed that there was no balance, however only one said that there is a balance due from 1994.

I located records stating that there was no balance so I faxed copies to them, to no avail. I stiil have not received any consistent information or problem resolved. One of the many problems is that I am talking with people in India who now is saying that they need to talk to someone in Virginia. I called Virginia and they say that they will try and help so that I can close on my home in 2 days now. What do you do and who can you talk with to resolve any issues? I have pending business which requires me to close on this sale of my home. Can you help?”
