HSBC collectors in India violate FDCA
BG in South Carolina said: “The debt collectors in India don’t have a clue and are harassing in violation of the Fair Debt Collections Act. They call you night and day to set up payment arrangement and when you do, you still get phone calls. When you finally answer and explain that you have previously set up arrangements, they act like they never received them. I just went off on some Indian Supervisor and told him I was lodging a complaint. He practically begged me to “give them another chance” so I’m thinking I’m not the first. Can’t wait to until the market turns a little - I’ll be finding another company to buy out my mortgage from the pathetic creditor!”
