HSBC is corrupt in treating employees fairly says one
CM in Kentucky said: “I was an employee of HSBC for three and half years. During that time I had never in my life seen a company so corrupt in the way they treated their employees. I was terminated because of time I had to take off for my daughter after they had denied me any FMLA leave time and then told me that I could not reapply for it. If employees were not fraternizing or sleeping with the managers outside of work then their careers went nowhere.
I would witness on a daily basis where other women would be given time off to go get their hair and nails done but I was not permitted to have time off to take care of my daughter, who developed seizure like activity after a doctor put her on the wrong medicine. There were instances while on the job their where I felt that the customers were being taken advantage of but could not do anything because it would cost me a month of production.
I know of one occurrance where someone was accused of cheating to obtain their monthly bonus and there was an investigation into that persons activities on the job. There was one discrepency found and that person was placed on corrective action but then later bragged that she did not get her bonus taken. The normal practice when put on corrective was to have the monthly bonus taken away from that person for a time unless the person was being put on corrective action for not making the monthly goal.”
