HSBC 120 day late status upsets Washington resident
VC in Washington said: “HSBC reported late payments on a household credit card account I paid off and closed over 3 years ago! I only had the account for just over a year and when the annual renewal fee came I paid it and promptly closed the account. I recently pulled my credit to discover it was 40 points lower due to 120 days late in 2007!..total scam! This company is pure evil and must be stopped!!..now I have to spend time and money proving my good name and payment history…I also have a GM Card which I think HSBC only recently took over..I will pay this off, cancel and tell GM why…beware anyone having the private label HSBC cards..Best buy and the rest they will try this crap on you too!!”
