HSBC lacks professional customer service says Oklahoma customer

KS in Oklahoma said: “I haven’t been with HSBC very long. It’s been about 11 months and for the first eight months it was alright. I have paid my account on time and with the same electronic payment manner though my bank every month. But a couple of months ago I got a phone call from HSBC collection department saying that they had not received my last few payments. I informed them that I had made the payments and it was sent to them from my bank and my bank records are shown the payments was taken out of my account and sent to HSBC on time each month.
The HSBC representitives keep saying that they didn’t get the payments when they had received them like clock work each month. I had to get all the documents from my bank and then ended up faxing them numerous times to the HSBC collection department before finally being credited for the payments to my account. This action took over a month to take place and because of the lack of professional customer service within HSBC and the time it took to prove to this company that I had made my payments on time they was so kind to jack my interest rates, lowered my credit line and reported me to the credit agencies for my payments being late when I wasn’t late – not even one time since I’ve had this account.
After that I had to make numerous other phone calls to this bumbling and fumbling company to get my account restored to its orginal status. Really, the right hand don’t really know what the left hand is doing within this company and its a real joke at best. I would say it took two months for the process to take place. HSBC said they had some techincal difficulties within there system with my eletronic payments and that they had fixed the problems. Well that not really ture at all, Now that I just got my account restored with HSBC and now that another payment was due guess what I’m going though all over again! HSBC is saying that they haven’t got my payment again, Its round two now and here we go again. The same thing processing my payments has become a problem for HSBC. Also the balance transfer to another credit card company has become a problem in attempt to close out my account with HSBC. I’m glad that I’m going to be getting away from these idiots and moving on and away from HSBC. Who can afford to do any business with a company like this? Not me, It has to be by design by HSBC because not one company could be so disfunctional like this one has shown to be to me.”
