HSBC Repo Never Wanted Payments
BT in Missouri says: “Due to medical reasons I had to file for bankruptcy last year, I continued to pay for my car ( a heavily modified show car around 30-40k invested) However, because of ongoing medical problems I became 30days late, HSBC called me requesting payment. I told the lady I would have my full payoff amount in 15-20 days she instantly said NO very firmly almost rudely. 2 weeks later they called again requesting money, I informed the new HSBC Rep that I was still in the position to get the full payoff within a few days I just needed to know were to send it. Was again instantly replied to with a very rude and nasty NO!! You make payment over phone now. Or we come get your car tomorrow. I told them “whatever” and my car was gone in 20 minutes, from a non-local repo company, they never planned to accept any payments. The repo guys had my keys. I gave them the keys. They just hooked up and dragged it out of my yard, damaging the car and my lawn by dragging the car several feet leaving horrible ruts in my front lawn and damaging the car. Very horrible company.”
