Texan Says HSBC Is a Ripoff Company
PR in Texas says: “If your payment is due on a Saturday, but make a payment on a Thursday before noon, the on-line system picks a date of when your payment will post, but the on-line system acknowledges that payment has been made by giving you a confirmation number, so on the terms of HSBC, you are late, therefore, you are issued a late fee of $35.00. HSBC has refused to remove my late fees. Also, you never get a straight answer from HSBC. They never informed me that I could pay my credit card payments at any HSBC branch and it’s not evens tated on the on-line system…again causing a late fee of $35.00. I believe HSBC causes these issues to happen in order to collect the late fee, which should be against the law. Total of $70.00 plus they have taken from me. HSBC is not consumer friendly…PERIOD!!! HSBC is more of a ripoff company.”
