Not wanting to get my husband in trouble and because my kids were so happy when they got home to see it, I contacted the dealership and advised them of my displeasure at how it had happened but would keep and pay for it.
In 2001 I paid off the lowest card and that left a balance of only approx 1500.00 on the other card. In October 2001 it was stolen out of the garage where we were renting and I called to let them know, faxed 3 or 4 police reports to that effect and asked for the insurance I had been paying for on it to cover the loss, they advised it would be taken care of.
Then I started receiving notices of payments late etc. repo agencies looking for the four wheeler etc. have battled it for years, they finally took it off my credit to turn right back around and put it back on.
I had insurance that HSBC charged me for and told me it would be taken care of and then they tried to tell me I had cancelled the insurance, which I did not, I told them to provide me with a voice recording or signed document, knowing that neither existed because I had not cancelled it, however my credit has been in ruins for years and is again.
Is there help for me in this dilemma? Please I am so frustrated and upset by the years this has been going on.”
