A North Carolina resident reports: “I have had my credit card with hsbc for almost three years. I have never been late on any payments. I notice that I keep getting charged annual fees more than once in a year for the amount of 39.00. I have been charged an annual fee twice within a six month period by this bank. They charged me an annual fee in January of 2006 and then charged me another one last month in July. This is crazy. I asked them why and their response was that they charged me an annual fee on my anniversary month and they always charges an annual fee to everyone’s account in July.”
