PR in Pennsylvania said: “I received a E-mail from HSBC card service to review my GM card statment. ( Sept 12, 2009), so I checked it out knowing I have not used this card in a year. I had a balance of $202.69 from a charge made by Sirus Radio in June for $142.45, plus $29.00 in late fees for Aug and Sept.

Never did I get a paper statment from HSBC or I never signed up for a E-statment. I just got a paper statement from HSBC today ( Sept. 15 ) for September, telling me I triggered the Default APR of 30.99%.

When I went for my GM credit card to look on the card to call them I saw the card expired in February of 2009. If you ask me I didn’t trigger anything, HSBC did.”
