Worst Nightmare – HSBC Now Has Your Loan

Is HSBC related to Household Finance? My mother had a loan with them (house) and they robbed my mother left to right. She ended up refinancing her house and going with another company. She did not even take the loan out with them somehow they acquired the loan. The same with us. We were with Mitsubishi Finance Corp (or bank – something like that) all of a sudden we received a letter in the mail stating Mitsubishi wasn’t doing the loan anymore but HSBC Auto Finance.
