JC in Pennsylvania said: “HSBC Nevada is doing a fraud against Mr. Albert Boscov, who resides in Reading, Pennsylvania, and against his department stores - Boscov’s.
The store business was forced to file Chapter 11 bankrupcty in Aug 2000; Mr. Boscov came out of retirement to manage the stores, which his father once did, due to the financial problems.
I have a fraudulent statement on my credit report claiming the store name is ‘HSBoscovs’, located in Carol Stream, Illinois.
Through 2008-early 2009, I learned the the phone number listed in all newspaper Boscov ads, 1-888-367-4310 is just a bogus answering machine voicemail. The phone number for allegedly “HSBC Nevada” which is the business finance company stated on all Boscov credit card bills, is just located at a P.O. Box address - there is no office there or employees or administration or even a store at all in Nevada.
I think Mr. Boscov has been subjected to some sort of scam by this HSBC company; as have PA Governor Edward Rendell and Senator Arlen Spector who just lent Mr Boscov’s store $200 Million to keep it up-and-running.”
