JZ in Illinois said: “I received a loan from Accredited Mortgage in 2004, I immediately contacted them after reviewing my loan docs, that my mortgage payment was incorrect. They told me to call back in next few days, once paperwork was filed at their office. I notified them that I would loose my three day right to rescind.
After being unsuccessful, I wrote Accredited and had no response. After struggling for 9 months to get resolved, I was notified my loan was now being serviced by HSBC.
I was now 6 months behind on my mortgage and the legal dept at HSBC told me that the loan should have never been purchased by them since it was already in foreclosure status and they would contact Accredited.
After they “resolved their differences with Accredited, I received no help from HSBC in resolving my debt. I have borrowed from Friend and Family for the past 5 years and am still strugling to keep this home.
I cannot sell since it has gone upside down by more than 70k. Is there anything I can do? Anyone with information as to how I can use this bad loan origination and Unlawful sale to HSBC to help save my family’s home would be Greatly Appreciated ! We need to keep the pressure on these unscrupulous lending practices.”
