B in Delaware said: “After contacting HFC (HSBC) about our mortgage which is 2 months behind I was told that they finance there own loans and did not participate in any of the government programs like the Home Affordable Mortgage Modification Program.

HSBC gave us a hardship defferment for 6 months and we would sign a forebearance agreement to slap on the late fees and missed payments on at the end of the loan….Hell No.

Our mortgage is almost 45% of our gross income. I have been up night after night trying to decide what to do….shoot myself or go in to their offices and finish them off for people like us. God help me.

A fine case of predatory lending when they get their appraiser to appraise $189,000 or a home worth $133,500 and never gave us a copy of the appraisal after we paid for it and requested numerous times. Our payment is $2,000 mo for 40 yrs with a fixed 9.54% interest. May these folks all rot in hell.”
