JS in North Carolina said: “My husband received a phone call yesterday from a collection agency stating that we owe $280 dollars. Into the conversation they stated that it was annual fees just to have the card, even though this card was paid off over a year ago. When asked why we had not recieved a bill, cause keep in mind we thought the account was paid in full, they inform us it is going to an Illinois address, WE LIVE IN NORTH CAROLINA!!
HSBC is still trying to hold us accountable for the balance which I do not feel we are in anyway obligated to. As another customer stated up here they can’t saying “In Line 27 of your policy” blah blah blah….. why would I assume I had a balance if I was not recieving a bill and had not gotten one single phone call until a year after it had been turned over to a collection agency.
HSBC is the sorriest group of people I have ever dealt with in my life and will make sure family and friends, and anyone else that I can possible tell knows not to deal with them or have any association with them, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!!! I hope they go bankrupt and if Obama bails them out after all the money they have screwed out of innocent people then shame on him!”
