GM in California said: “You can add me to the list of people having issues with their titles! The horrible thing is I have reported HSBC to the BBB and was told they feel like HSBC did all they could and I was giving them the problems! I have been working on this since the origination of my loan in oct 2007!
I only found out about the problems once all the documents were signed. The story is my title and loan are under two different names. When it was time for me to registeration tags the DMV would not release without HSBC giving them the correct title since the one HSBC was reporting as my name was incorrect.
Everytime I spoke with HSBC I was told by several managers this would be taken care of and the DMV would get the corrected Title. I began racking up tickets for displaying improper tags which I get advising HSBC!
I finally performed a conference call with the DMV so the DMV could tell them themself was missing since HSBC always wanted to blame someone else.Per the DMV and any common sense tags have nothing to do with title. Once the lender changes the new title is supposed to be issued case closed.
I am at my wits end. I requested from HSBC all the transcripts of when I began calling since the managers said I am entitled to this and was told I need a court subpoena!
I asked for my consumer rights, their arbitration policy and they were told they can not provide this to customers! No one will help me. I do not know what to do. To get my tags I have to pay thousands of dollars in fees which I still can not even get anyways without my tags. I asked HSBC flat out if they:
#1 perform a illegal contract since the names don’t match or
#2 process my paperwork incorrectly.
HSBC refuses to answer. At this point they will not even talk to me on the phone.”
