AY in California said: “I had a original loan with HFC in 1990, I borrowed 29,500. I paid on this loan for 4 years., I became disabled and the disability insurance started paying, I sold the home in question in 2005 and owed $34,000. Should of known better: bought home, got a 2nd, and now owe $35,000 on a $34,000 second mortgage.

Now HFC is claiming that I have disability, so here we go again, trying to get 1st morgage to refi. The home, bought in 2005, is 300k upside down.”
