Gave her every bit of info she asked for, which was quite extensive. ( I was mailed a “professional looking copy” of that interview. I was encouraged to contact MMIPHASES on line. I did. Followed all their instructions….”learning about MONEY and BUDGETING!!
At this point I was to fill out an application for a grant . The grant was to be from HSBC. I thought ,”how strange”…”a credit card company is giving away money for mortgage support???”
I blew is off…thinking I’m not very savvy when it comes to finances /………so maybe it’s okay and quite honestly I didn’t care if the grant came from Mars as long as I could get caught up on my mortgage.
I couldn’t afford printer’s ink for my printer so the MMI person said they would send me a copy to fill out , sign and return. Great. A week passes no application for grant. I called MMI and was told “sorry, so sorry……but the grant cannot be issued in the state of Alabama!!!!!!!!!!
I said , “Why not, do they not like southerners?” Trying to make a joke, but I was seeing red flags everywhere. I called the Governors office this morning and a couple places and was directed to you. I don’t understand ?? Help.”
