LW in Florida said: “I am apalled that a company so huge as HSBC can operate in this manner. I thought i was going crazy until i read all the emails on this site. Tonight i went to make my last payment for a gown i had purchased for my neices wedding. when i went to login it was asking for an email address.

when i signed up i formed my own login address. i could not login and i could loging with the password. it kept saying incorrect. my payment is due on the 26th. after reading horror stories i am going to send the check overnite tomorrow. it will be worth it to send the check overnite rather than pay the late fees.

i went online the other night to pay another credit card associated with HSBC. i also had double billing. when i went to make the payment it showed that both accounts had the same balance and both accounts were showing payments and equalling the same balance. what? – i flipped out. it is impossible to get anything resolved. they are cons.

The other story is about my account with Best Buy. i bought a computer back in august. the balance due now is more than the original cost of the computer. when they sold me the computer it was supposed to be months no finance. they did not tell me that i still had to make a pyament. i thought the no finance was the same as davids and that you could pay in full before the six months was up.

But no, some moron on the phone was telling me that it meant no finance for six months but that i had to make the minimum payment.. what? – then to top it off i had not received the statements because they had the wrong zip code and the street instead of court.

So i never received the first couple of statements and they were charging late and finance charges. then when i finally did receive a statement i made my payment online. i did not receive the next statement and they were calling and calling and finally contacted me because the payment was late.

turned out they were sending me the statements via email which i DID NOT want. i still wanted the paper statement and i know i never filled out paperwork stating send me my statement online. they are just stupid morons and before i open another credit card i will first find out which bank it is with.

They are con jobs and the people that work for HSBC are no better. i have not received a statement. i cannot believe that the balance is higher than when i started and now i am not receiving a paper statement. ridiculous.

I wish i would have known about this site before i made any purchases with HSBC as the bank. what do do now? i do not want to pay double for the computer i purchased and i do not owe double the amount on two separate credit cards. this company needs to be reported to the BBB.”
