GK in Sri Lanka said: “I was mugged in Brussels. I called up HSBC Sri Lanka (Who issued me the credit card) within 30 mins and canceled it. They still let a transaction go through for 2100 Euros. HSBC was not at all co-operative with my dispute. Finally 3 weeks later they got hold of the receipt to see it was not even my signature and it was someone elses. Despite acknowledging its a fraud and unauthorized transaction, HSBC Sri Lanka is still insisting that I have to pay for it. I absolutely cannot believe the absurdity of the issue and HSBC customer service. Dispute is still going on and I am stressed by HSBC Sri Lanka’s extremely poor service.”
