Boscovs and HSBC Forgets To Mail December Bill
TH in Pennsylvania said: “HSBC manages the credit department for Boscovs Department Store. I opened a charge with Boscovs in August and all of my payments were on time. I did not receive my December bill, so when I received the January bill it contained $40 in late fees and finance charges. I called and they basically told me they did not get the bill back so therefore, I must have received it and they would not waive any of the fees. I immediately cancelled the account and mailed in the balance I owed for merchandise only. They are currently charging me $15 a month for late fees and then finance charges on the balance. The balance is up to $79. I called again today and they said there is nothing they can do - I need to pay the entire balance. Any suggestions?”
