I have a suggestion. The people posting on here that claim to have known bad people in HSBC, name names. Stand up and say exactly what the facts are and stop talking in vague statements, ie “All too often, those continually promoted to key leadership positions were fully unfit for their positions“. Anyone can make a vague statement as many here have without ever working for the company. Everyone is unemployed now. Speak your mind in a way that validates your comments.

Also, any of you that saw or knew of unethical behavior in the company, you are guilty and deserved to loose your job. Weekly and monthly everyone was reminded of the employee integrity hotline. It was 100% confidential and you should have reported such events. Not doing so makes you as guilty as those doing it the wrong way.
