Let’s watch 60 minutes as I embed an interview that aired on Sunday night, December 14th, 2008. Although subprime took its toll on homeowners, this piece examines Alt-A and option ARM’s. The time frame for more defaults is amazing. You will see a chart that shows the severity of subprime, followed by a brief lull, and then the full impact of ALt-A and option ARM defaults will take place. This 60 Minutes interview predicts no end to foreclosures and the real estate slide. Instead we might be in for three or four more years of evictions and foreclosures.
