I am currently a Beneficial employee and I could go on and on about all kinds of things going on with employees and customers. The one thing I want to express is how CML ( HFC/Beneficial) is decreasing customers credit lines without notification. The branch office received a very brief Bulletin on this happening to customers. I have received a great amount of customers looking to advance the funds they thought they had and it is left up to the local staff to look people in the face and tell them they have no available credit.

This for one is not fair to customers who have managed their accounts to a 50% utilization (so they will not impact their credit scoring in a negative way), pay their bills on time, ect. They were not notified of this and most people were counting on these funds for christmas expenses, or to fill their oil tanks. We are in very rough times and to do that to a person is not right. Not to mention leaving it up to the branch office to deal with the reactions from the customers (which are not pretty). HSBC says they pride themselves on customer service (cvp) but all they are concerned with is themselves, not employees or customers.
