Many of you tell me that you must access our website through your home computer or iPhone because the site is blocked at work. I urge caution during these trying times, but I also think HSBC owes it to employees to keep them informed. We can only plan for the future if we know what the future holds in store.

There seems to be a paradigm shift and, as I did last year at this time, I want to make it clear that my original issues were with William F. Aldinger and no one else.

I also think HSBC Plc, HSBC USA, and HSBC North America had plenty of time since 2003, when they acquired Household International, to make positive changes that would have prevented layoffs, restructuring, and optimization. They owed that to you, and they failed to do it.

You can monitor this website, and new posts by in ‘Jobs and Layoffs’ using an off-site widget. We also started using an off-site mailing service for your email. Both are very simple, with few graphics.
