This is a submitted comment: RE - No raises for HSBC employees.
HSBC cares about its employees as much as it does its customers. The bottom line is money. Employees have taken big hits in income with this company and then to slap them in the face without even giving a cost of living increase while dumping more work on them is a disgrace.
They like to pretend and go out in the community working on all of these projects for charities, trying to give themselves a “good” name and image to the public and they “use” their employees who aren’t getting raises to do this. HSBC makes me sick and everything they do makes me sick.
They might be good at trying to “sell” a pretty picture, but have no one with business sense. They want to pride themselves on customer service, but don’t let the door hit you on the way out because after that, you’re on your own. Employees even have to get transferred to another country and go through all kinds of transfers to wrong departments.
Even as bad as the economy is right now, HSBC has made it so many employees are hoping they’ll close. 2 Million dollar bonuses to a bunch of top suits who already make millions doing nothing…instead of passing on some of that money to the employees who work their butts off for an unappreciative company.
