A New England resident said: “I worked for HFC 31 years. I planned to retire a year ago. I put in papers to retire and was approved. They decided my last day was April 13th and it canceled my retirement because I won’t be 50 until May 1st. I was penalized for 17 days. I worked the last 45 days. Where AE’s got 30 days free pay and managers got $1000 bonus. It is not right. I have filed a complaint with the government website pbgc.gov and my state attorney general.”

I left Beneficial last year. At first I believed all the crap and I see myself as not only an intelligent person but also successful. After several months they started laying people off and closing offices. They brought in new management that spoke openly about fraud. It was the trend to come. Company policy was being broken on a regular basis, then federal laws were broken.

I am a 10+yr employee for HSBC and really am disappointed in mangagement these days, not only do they not listen to you, but they also expect you to work your tail off with not even a thank you. I am a very hard working employee who here lately, don’t really feel like working at all due to the lack there of management not doing anything all day, so hey what is the phrase “lead by example”.
