It may be even more important to tell shoppers that HSBC is the financing behind the Best Buy consumer electronics store credit card. Bankrupt electronics retailer Circuit City Inc. said Friday it has asked for court approval to close its remaining 567 U.S. stores and sell all its merchandise. The company said it has 34,000 employees. Personally I do not tell my children to stay away from Best Buy. I simply warn them not to get a Best Buy credit card. In reference to HSBC credit card fraud a Wisconsin man suggests: “Credit card companies (and even banks) could eliminate massive fraud if they would program into their system a function that would send me an email of the transaction every time I (or someone) made a charge on my credit/debit card. Every time, not just once a day or once a month. That way it is fresh in my mind and if I knew I made no charges that day, it would trigger me to investigate. That email to me is not only free to the bank, but it would save billions in credit card fraud yearly.”

Someone who shall (should) remain nameless sent this idea: “For any HSBC employee that has recently quit because you’re tired of the B.S. or if you were “optimized,” you can cash out your pension if you’ve been with the company for 3+ years. Now’s our chance to get back at those snakes! Cash out your pensions!”
