HSBC may report a second straight loss after setting aside $15.3 billion, mainly for consumer loans that soured in the U.S., according to Bloomberg. Household International just keeps getting better and better for those who like red ink and losses.

I am one of the 6000 people in the US who lost their jobs with HSBC. We shutdown in April. However, HSBC continues to waste money by sending their ex-employees CD’s to put in a disc player to view all their benefits. WE ARE NO LONGER WORKING THERE! Why are they sending these out? They don’t know either.

This was received from an employee: “This is regarding the Global People Survey. Management is telling their employees that they need to take this survey. Last I heard this was suppose to be a voluntary survey not mandatory. Supposedly there is a 3rd party that is tallying up the results. Who is to say that they are not getting a kick back to provide the results to upper management?

The U.K.’s Financial Services Authority on Wednesday fined three HSBC Holding PLC firms a total of £3 million ($4.9 million) for failing to protect customers’ confidential information, the highest fine ever dished out by the regulator for data security breaches.
