Topic Title: HSBC Taxmasters on wrong persons credit report

CS in Minnesota reported by email: "I recently received my annual free copy of my credit report! Listed in that report is "HSBC Taxmasters." I or my husband have never had any such account and we certainly would remember a $2,934.00 payment! This is wrong and needs to be removed from our credit record."

JP in Texas asks: "Just curious - HSBC is one of the financial institutions that affords Rapid Refunds. I wonder how long before they'll be keeping ones tax refund in lieu of what "they say is theirs". I wouldn't go there as the consumer. I'd wait before I'd chance it."
