Topic Title: HSBC Fumbles Bank of America Payment

JL in Missouri reported: "My payments to Retail Services are for a 2005 Yamaha motorcycle, and I have had no problems until the December payment. All my payments have been made electronically (and automatically) through Bank of America. The latest statement indicated that I missed the December payment and I was assessed a late fee of $39.00. Normally, when an automatic payment is modified, it is indicated as such on the payment history. In this case there is no indication of anything occurring in December in the payment history. I haven't received a reply from BofA for my inquiry, but I wanted to let you know what is happening at this point to get it in the record and to see if this has occurred in other cases."
