Topic Title: All quiet after bankruptcy - for a while

CC in Michigan asks "I had filed bankruptcy 6 years ago. They were the only ones I owed after the judgement. I paid them accordingly and then I quit getting bills. I didn't have a statement to send in. I could never get a hold of anyone at their number. We tried for 3 months. Normally I try to find a way to get it. But at the time my husband was laid off and it was the least of our worries. While the problem with HSBC was from our bankruptcy we had problems with this company more than once. We prayed it was just 'gone'. However, now after 2 years they started contacting us again. Is there anything we can do?
