LL in California reported "I am a victim of identity theft on april 10, 2006. Dell financial services informed me that this other person who has all my information tried to open an account with them but there was one incorrect information. I informed them that I was not the one who called them. When I got a copy of my credit report, I also found out that this person also tried to open an account with HSBC that same day. The credit Bureau gave me this fax number 408-754-1400 but no phone available. HSBC did not inform me about this fradulent activity."
