Topic Title: 2 accounts on credit report for 1 ATV being financed

I've been trying to get my credit in order, so I printed out my credit report. I found that HSBC Yamaha has two revolving accounts listed on my report for the 1 ATV that I'm financing. The account that I have the card for says "Account closed by credit granter" and it has a balance due of zero. Then the other account listed, which I was never informed of nor sent a new card, says the same thing "Account closed by credit granter" and it has a balance on it. I just don't understand why there are two revolving charge accounts on my credit report. One of them showing paid and closed and the other showing just closed. Why wasn't I notified of the change in account numbers. Why are two of them on my report? Why was the first card closed? Has anyone else had this happen to them? Am I just being stupid and missing something here? :?:

We have almost the same problem . When my husband and I checked our credit reports after buying to ATV's through Yamaha. Both of our credit reports show three different accounts. One shows paid as agreed. One shows closed by HSBC paid as agreed. and one shows that we owe eleven thousand dollars to Yamaha Music none of the account numbers are correct. We have both tried repeatedly to have these items corrected both through the credit reporting agencies and through HSBC . we are still fighting. Now they have items listed that we currently have in dispute that by law should not even be on our reports. HSBC violates law after law where is the class action suit for all the people who where screwed over by the HSBC Yamaha scam . We want in
